Workshop 1 Saturday 10/24/09 1pm – 3pm – The Swing
& The Turkish Get – Up
The Swing & The Turkish Get – Up are the two most essential Kettlebell movements.
These exercises will lay the foundation for your strength and cardio while
improving your ability to move both with grace and power.

The good old push-up is
without argument, the king of all upper body exercises. With all of today’s
fitness tricks and gimmicks, this gem is rarely, if ever taught or used anymore.
When done properly, this exercise will tone and strengthen every muscle in your
torso, including your abs.
Speaking of abs, you will
learn how to use an old and inexpensive piece of equipment that will challenge
your core from the bottom to the top.

Workshop 2 Saturday 11/21/09 1pm – 3pm - The Kettlebell Squat, The Clean & Press
and The Row
The Kettlebell Squat – Squatting is a primal movement. A movement that
should be maintained throughout your lifetime. The ability to squat fluidly and
deeply is a strong indicator of your ability to move well. The better your squat
mechanics the better you will move. This exercise is the king of all lower body
exercises. It’s an all around leg and butt developer. You will also learn how
this leg exercise can make your core as tough as a brick wall.
The Clean & Press – The shoulder is the most commonly dislocated joint
and one of the most frequently injured. Proper use of the Clean & Press can
safeguard & strengthen perhaps the most complicated joint in your body. Not
to mention, this exercise will give you a very attractive set of shoulders and
a beautifully toned back to show off in a tank top or an evening dress.
The Row - The
large muscles of your back protect and support your spine. Most people neglect
these muscles. Don’t be like most
people. This also happens to be the exercise that can help you develop a nicely
tapered torso.

Workshop 3 Saturday 12/19/09 1pm – 3pm – The Deadlift, The Snatch and The Lunge
The Deadlift – This simple movement is incredibly effective for building overall body
strength. It is also a true to life “functional” movement. If you lift anything
in your day to day life, kids, bags of groceries, you know the importance of
this movement and how
The Lunge – A
very effective leg and butt firmer. Do a few of these and the next day you will
absolutely know that you got a good glute workout.
The Snatch - The most advanced exercise of the super six. Do you want to look good from every angle? Even the one you can’t see in the mirror? Well this move works and tones every muscle in the rear of your body, from your shoulders down to your calves. Don’t be surprised if after a few weeks of doing snatches you stop and with a grin ask yourself, “Is this really my body?” Yes, it’s that powerful of an exercise.
